The Hall Of Fame - 1970's

July 05, 2008
Alan Suddick
Alan joined Pool in December 19966 from Newcastle United for a ten record fee of £60,000. Alan's superb passing and his trademark 'banana' free kicks made him an all time Pool great. A highlight of Alan's career was masterminding Pool to victory in the 1971 Anglo Italian Cup. Capped at England u-23 level Alan's Pool career spanned a decade covering 348 games scoring 76 goals. Still a regular at Bloomfield Roas, Alan is a true Blackpool legend.
