So two games gone and two wins. Not bad going hey!
We've not updated our blog since the wee small hours on Friday night/sat morning so thought i'd drop you a quick update.
Unfortunately we do not have a guest for BSA Meets on Saturday. I say unfortunately, to be honest it's actually a good thing. The first home game is always so busy and myself and the team will be spending ages answering questions about travel, membership, goals goals goals as well as sorting renewals out so to then add a guest into the mix and we would all be in an asylum by 3pm!
We are looking to have a session on Saturday 22nd September, and we're hoping for Fred P. If you have any suggestions for guests then let us know.
Jan and andy are starting to compile the Wolves lists. We've already taken loads of bookings so if you are booked then make sure you save money by paying in advance. We are also trying to come to an agreement as to what to do about people who book on but dont turn up, "No shows!!!" This really is a pain as we obviously book extra coaches (thus making a hell of a lot more work for oursleves) on bookings and when people don't have the courtesy to cancel it is pretty annoying and it's not fair on those people we quite often turn away.
It does make me laugh when we are accused of being a glorified travel club. God these critics want to try organising x amount of coaches every game.
I don't really think there is anything else to report really. We do have some fantastic plans for this season and we will obviously announce these in due course. If you do know somebody who isn't a member get them to sign up. They can really play a massive part in what is going to be a great year. We really need support as this will help us achieve our plans.
anyway spent all night avoiding the scores so i can watch MOTD without knowing the results while enjoying some fresh shrimps caught last night off the coast of Morecambe!
Up the pool
see you in Number One on sat!
